About this ride
Ride leader: Rob Holmes, with Alison White.
A straightforward D ride along familiar roads and paths, 18.5 miles to lunch and about 10 miles back, 8 to 10 mph, 460 ft of climbing but nothing demanding.
Through the Woodchurch estate to join the Fender Valley path, then Prenton Hall Road over the ridge to Prospect Drive, Levers Causeway and Little Storeton to Brimstage and Thornton Hough (banana break), then via Raby to the Wirral Way at Hadlow Road Station, Heath Lane, the Missing Link, Badgers Rake Lane and Mudhouse Lane through Burton village to Net's Cafe. The return is more direct via Leighton Road, Boathouse Lane and Barnston Dale.
