About this ride

Ride leader: David Brewer.

A D ride of about 20 miles at 9 to 10 mph, clockwise round the Wirral with no significant climbs. Please be at Port Sunlight Station at 10:15 for a safety briefing; we roll at 10:30.

Down the railway path to Eastham, then Childer Thornton, Ledsham, Puddington, Burton, banana break at Burton Marsh, Neston and on to Thornton Hough. Lunch at Net's at about 12:30.

At Thornton Hough, Dave Branch has arranged for physiotherapist Karen from Wirral Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy to run a one-hour session on aching joints, muscles and our positioning on the bike, at the Parish Centre just past the Seven Stars. The club is donating £50 to Friends of Clatterbridge for this; private donations welcome.

The ride ends at Thornton Hough; David is happy to escort anyone back to Port Sunlight.
